Sheilla Kimmins
My name is Sheila Kimmins, I am married to Mike with two grown up sons, one who lives in the UK the other in Brisbane Australia. We moved to Dilton Marsh in 1984, where I started my own business’s which I sold in 2010. We then moved into Westbury.
In between times I served 22 years as a Wiltshire Magistrate, with three years as chairman of the Family County Panel.
An elected member for 9 years on Dilton March Parish Council and was chair for 3 years.
I spent 7 years as a trustee for Splitz Support services, working with survivors of domestic abuse.
8 years as part of the Independent Monitoring Board of prisons, based in Bristol and then Erlestoke.
I am a trustee of the WCP
I am currently a Westbury Town councillor and mayor.
I like people, I like working with people, I’m told that I am a starter and a finisher and can get grumpy! To relax I walk my dogs, bake and knit, the latter stops me from going to sleep in front of the television.
