My name is Ian Cooper, I am a retired Chartered civil engineer and local government manager.

I worked in various local authorities over 31 years, firstly as a practicing civil engineer and progressing gradually in to management roles. Following retirement nearly twenty years ago, I lived in Greece with my family for six years. Since returning to the UK, I have volunteered for a variety of roles culminating in helping to set up Westbury Area Network over the last two years.

I believe strongly in the work of WAN and the benefit it delivers to the local community.
